Senior Data Engineer

Jit Team is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a project for a major European energy company. You will contribute to an initiative focused on creating an AI-assisted, governed data interaction layer that enables users to gain insights and generate architecture artefacts through natural language.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions using Databricks and the Azure Data Platform.
• Build and optimize complex data pipelines, ingestion processes, and data transformations.
• Create and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers to ensure high-quality and accessible data.
• Develop robust data models and semantic layers that support advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Platform, and Databricks.
• Solid experience in data modeling and working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and advanced DAX skills.
