Senior Data Engineer

Tabby is a leading fintech company dedicated to creating financial freedom by reshaping how people shop, earn, and save. As a rapidly growing unicorn in the GCC region, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Services Team and contribute to building robust internal solutions, including our Feature Store.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a scalable Feature Store and other critical data services.
• Build and maintain efficient EL, ELT, and ETL data pipelines.
• Integrate new tools and technologies for advanced data processing and storage.
• Perform operational tasks to ensure the reliability and performance of data systems.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.
• Proven track record in developing high-load, scalable data processing and storage systems.
• Strong background in event-driven architectures and streaming pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, adhering to industry best practices.
• Solid understanding of system design, REST/gRPC APIs, and message brokers.
• Experience with tools such as Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, and GCP.
