Senior Data Engineer

Yard Corporate is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a premier global SaaS company that powers intelligent customer engagement and data-driven marketing automation. You will be responsible for designing robust, high-throughput architectures and scaling modern data stacks while collaborating with AI/ML teams to bring production-grade intelligence into live environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate resilient, high-throughput data processing pipelines across distributed ecosystems.
• Lead schema evolution, DDL/DML design, and partitioning strategies to optimize cost, latency, and throughput.
• Manage cloud infrastructure via Terraform and maintain automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Data Science specialists to architect feature stores and production-grade MLOps pipelines.
• Monitor and scale containerized data services and scheduled DAGs in orchestrated environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering focused on designing and maintaining production data systems.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, query optimization, and schema design for relational databases and cloud analytical warehouses.
• Hands-on experience provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform in a major cloud environment.
• Practical mindset toward automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and maintainable, modular Python code.
• Proven experience using modern data tools such as Snowflake, Apache Spark, dbt, or Apache Iceberg.
