Senior Data Engineer

Globaldev Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an innovative project for a prominent European renewable energy company. You will play a key role in designing and scaling a cross-business anomaly detection solution, working as an independent contributor to translate complex industrial data into smart, reusable models.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement streaming and batch data pipelines for data integration, ingestion, quality management, and auditing.
• Perform feature engineering and data exploration to support project goals.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to align on requirements and standardize sensor data.
• Build and maintain the Gold data layer, key KPIs, and PoC evaluation frameworks.
• Establish and maintain engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, version control, and comprehensive testing.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with Azure and the Databricks platform.
• Solid experience with MLflow for machine learning lifecycle management.
• Proven track record in setting up production-ready engineering practices such as CI/CD, IaC, and unit testing.
• Senior-level engineering mindset with the ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
