Key responsibilities

• Develop the long-term technical vision and strategy for data components, frameworks, and libraries.
• Design and implement scalable, production-grade data pipelines using Python and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Mentor engineering team members and uphold high standards for operational excellence and code quality.
• Collaborate closely with analytics stakeholders to model data for reporting and business intelligence needs.
• Ensure the reliability of production systems through proactive monitoring, debugging, and incident response.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data modeling for analytics.
• Hands-on experience operating batch ELT pipelines and working with cloud-based data warehouses.
• Familiarity with dbt, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and make pragmatic, high-impact technical decisions.
