Senior Data Engineer

NRI North America is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our Data Analytics Data Platform team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver robust business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft Analytics stack, working closely with clients to translate their business needs into scalable data architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance databases, data pipelines, and data lakes.
• Transform and model data while developing comprehensive reporting, analytics, and dashboards.
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand business processes and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Work within an agile team environment to manage the full data analytics development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to final delivery.
• Provide expert technical guidance and documentation to ensure project success and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering, specifically with Azure technologies like Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Fabric.
• Deep expertise in data warehouse and lakehouse methodologies, ETL/ELT processes, and dimensional data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database platforms, with growing experience in Python.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
