Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will join a team of experts to design and implement advanced data platforms, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable data processing pipelines for streaming and batch workloads using Databricks, Apache Airflow, and Dagster.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Lead the development of CI/CD and MLOps processes to automate deployments and model lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Data Science teams on Machine Learning projects, including feature engineering and predictive model deployment.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and governance best practices across all data pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience implementing or maintaining Big Data systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Deep expertise in Big Data technologies such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, and Databricks.
• Experience implementing solutions in cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Big Data, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
