Senior Data Engineer (Azure/Databricks)

DCG is a recruitment company dedicated to connecting experienced professionals with high-impact projects. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced data platform solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data platform solutions within the Azure cloud environment.
• Work with large-scale datasets using Azure Databricks, including the implementation of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Build and evolve modern data architectures, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and DWH structures.
• Implement and maintain efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to design data models that meet evolving business requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3.5 years of commercial experience in cloud-based data projects.
• Strong expertise in Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
• Proven experience with Azure Databricks, specifically Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Unity Catalog.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, Azure DevOps, and Git version control.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level, enabling effective communication in an international environment.
