Senior Data Engineer - Terminal.exe

Join Terminal.exe, the AI-native data platform by All Your BI, and take ownership of the core pipelines and data models that empower container terminal operators worldwide. You will work on a fast-growing SaaS platform, designing architectures that turn fragmented, complex operational data into reliable, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust ELT pipelines from on-premises terminal databases into our Azure-based platform using incremental extraction and Kafka-compatible event streams.
• Develop and maintain a multi-tenant data architecture on Azure PostgreSQL, utilizing a standardized transformation framework.
• Contribute to the development of internal connector tooling written in Go.
• Implement comprehensive data quality monitoring, including gap detection, freshness alerting, and reconciliation.
• Map diverse source data from various terminal operating systems onto a unified, standardized data model.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with a proven track record of end-to-end ownership of production data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with Go experience considered a significant advantage.
• Solid experience working with SQL Server as a source system and PostgreSQL as a target store.
• Deep understanding of ELT pipelines, incremental extraction, and event-driven or streaming architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, CI/CD practices, and a strong focus on data observability and instrumentation.
