Senior Data Architect (f/m/x)

Sii is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design of advanced customer data solutions, primarily leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure ecosystems. In this role, you will act as a technical authority, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical architectures while providing leadership to engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Acting as the technical authority for data architecture and design throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading customer discovery, requirements gathering, and envisioning sessions to define target architectures.
• Translating business needs into clear technical requirements, high-level designs, data flows, and data models.
• Designing Microsoft Fabric solutions using Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Medallion architecture patterns.
• Defining dimensional models using Kimball principles and documenting architectural decisions, risks, and dependencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture or a related field.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory.
• Expertise in data warehousing, Kimball dimensional modeling, and modern data engineering patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication skills to lead customer-facing technical discussions and workshops.
• Fluent English and residency in Poland.
