Senior Data / Analytics Engineer

DCG is looking for a Senior Data / Analytics Engineer to join our team and support a US-based client in building advanced data solutions. You will play a key role in designing data flows and implementing modern AI-driven analytics tools to drive business value.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and managing data flows in Microsoft Fabric, including ingestion, transformations, and data modeling.
• Developing semantic models and Power BI reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Defining AI adoption and business value KPIs in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Implementing conversational access to data using tools like Fabric Data Agent, Copilot in Power BI, or custom LLM-based solutions.
• Ensuring high-quality, reliable responses through rigorous testing, accuracy validation, and clear boundary definition.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, and notebooks.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, specifically in data modeling, DAX, and semantic models.
• Solid SQL skills and practical experience with Python or PySpark.
• Proven ability to integrate data from diverse sources such as APIs, files, databases, and SaaS platforms.
• Fluent English skills to effectively communicate with international stakeholders.
