Senior Data Analyst - Business Intelligence

Magna Legal Services is a leading provider of comprehensive legal support, dedicated to helping clients navigate complex challenges through expertise and professional excellence. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and lead the evolution of our business intelligence practices within our Records Retrieval division.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify operational needs and translate them into scalable, actionable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports using Sigma to provide clear insights to leadership.
• Utilize SQL to query, transform, and validate complex datasets, ensuring high data integrity across all reporting assets.
• Establish and promote best practices for data governance, metric definitions, and documentation to improve overall analytics infrastructure.
• Collaborate with technology teams to optimize data modeling and enhance our Snowflake environment for better performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with a proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets effectively.
• Extensive experience developing dashboards in modern BI platforms, with a strong preference for Sigma.
• Demonstrated expertise working with cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
