Senior Data & AI Engineer (Agentic AI / Azure)

Awareson is seeking an experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer to join a long-term project focused on building modern, AI-driven solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role bridges the gap between advanced data engineering and cutting-edge AI, allowing you to design scalable pipelines and integrate intelligent workflows into production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Databricks and Event Hubs.
• Integrate external ML and AI workloads into the existing enterprise architecture.
• Develop AI-powered solutions leveraging LLM APIs and RAG architectures.
• Create and optimize prompts used directly within production applications.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to ensure data quality and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data, AI, or ML Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Hubs.
• Excellent Python programming skills and experience building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proven track record of integrating LLM APIs and implementing RAG-based solutions.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, clean architecture, and Agile methodologies.
