MENA Consultant is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Governance Consultant for a 2-year remote engagement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's cybersecurity posture by developing and refining governance frameworks, strategies, and comprehensive policy standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization's cybersecurity governance framework, strategy, and roadmap.
- Manage the Cybersecurity Control Library to ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
- Facilitate policy exception management, including the documentation and monitoring of waivers and risk acceptance requests.
- Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for senior management and governance committees.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of governance artifacts.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity governance.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven expertise in drafting and managing approval cycles for cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Strong familiarity with Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS) and control library maintenance.
- Ability to maintain governance records and supporting evidence for audits and regulatory reviews.
