Avenga is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical project. In this role, you will be responsible for securing enterprise network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments, focusing on Zero Trust and Defense-in-Depth initiatives to ensure secure connectivity.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Secure Access and Network Security, driving the evolution of services in alignment with Zero Trust security strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain Network Access Control solutions, including Cisco ISE and identity-based authentication protocols like 802.1X, RADIUS, and SAML.
- Lead network segmentation and access control initiatives, such as Cisco TrustSec and SGT-based micro-segmentation, to ensure high availability and platform optimization.
- Drive operational excellence through incident resolution, root cause analysis, infrastructure automation, and collaboration with global teams.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Network Security with hands-on expertise in Cisco ISE.
- Expert knowledge of identity-based access control, including Dot1x, MAB, Profiling, and EAP-TLS.
- Proven experience with Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, including administration, threat prevention, and high-availability environments.
- Strong automation skills using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools like GitHub or GitLab.
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as L2/L3, VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, and OSPF.
