Lingo.dev is a localization engineering platform that helps teams measure translation quality, translate with LLMs, and proofread with native speakers. We are a YC-backed, fully remote team looking for our first Content Engineer to own our content strategy from creation to distribution and measurement.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end content lifecycle, including blog posts, research articles, essays, changelogs, and newsletters.
- Manage distribution across platforms like LinkedIn, dev.to, Hacker News, and Reddit to drive signups and backlinks.
- Interview engineers and customers to produce high-quality content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Implement SEO, GEO, and AI search visibility strategies using data from Ahrefs and Search Console.
- Automate workflows and distribution processes using code and AI-driven production methods.
Requirements
- Proven track record of achieving measurable distribution results and growing digital properties.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, avoiding fluff and superlatives.
- Technical proficiency to automate your own workflows and distribution tasks.
- Daily experience using Claude for production, with strong opinions on prompting and output quality.
- Deep understanding of how algorithms on platforms like LinkedIn and Hacker News reward content.
