Senior COBOL Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior COBOL / Mainframe Developer to join our international technology team, supporting critical digital solutions within a global custodian banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance complex mainframe applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production and application issues to ensure system stability.
• Contribute to modernization and continuous improvement initiatives within the existing application landscape.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, IMS, JCL, and OPC scheduling tools.
• Proven experience working within enterprise-scale environments.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and production support processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English to facilitate effective collaboration in an international team.
