Senior Cloudflare WAF Security Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloudflare WAF Security Consultant to support the implementation, optimisation, and operational readiness of enterprise web security capabilities across a large and complex digital estate. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with advisory responsibilities, focusing on accelerating Cloudflare WAF adoption and strengthening the protection of customer-facing services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding of domains and applications into Cloudflare Enterprise environments.
• Design, implement, and optimise Cloudflare WAF policies across multiple platforms.
• Configure and support DNS proxying, SSL/TLS settings, certificate management, and traffic routing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish secure onboarding and operational processes.
• Resolve complex web application security, networking, and traffic management issues.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cloudflare Enterprise environments and WAF tuning.
• Demonstrated experience managing DNS proxying, SSL/TLS configurations, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of web application architectures, modern threat vectors, and reverse proxy mechanisms.
• Practical experience working with F5 load balancers and enterprise traffic management solutions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with C1 level proficiency in English.
