Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS & Azure)

Join a global engineering team building modern cloud platforms that support software development, data processing, analytics, observability, and enterprise-scale platform engineering initiatives.

You will work across AWS and Azure environments, helping design, automate, secure, and operate cloud-native solutions used by distributed engineering teams across Europe, North America, and APAC.

You will

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
• Develop DevSecOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Build and operate cloud-native platform services and reusable engineering capabilities
• Design and support modern data platforms, including ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics layers
• Implement event-driven and serverless architectures using AWS and Azure services
• Develop lakehouse-based data solutions leveraging cloud-native storage and processing technologies
• Implement security controls, identity management, encryption, monitoring, and compliance mechanisms
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and engineering standards
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to drive platform excellence

Must have

• 10+ years of professional experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, security, serverless, monitoring, and data services
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and platform automation
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or similar container platforms
• Understanding of modern data lake/lakehouse architectures
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, and workflow orchestration
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Neo4j, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, logging, and operational resilience
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar)
• Experience with Apache Iceberg, Spark, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, AWS Glue, EMR Serverless
• Experience in enterprise software engineering, automotive, embedded, or regulated industries
• Exposure to observability, data governance, security compliance, and platform engineering best practices
