About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team focused on building modern, scalable, and secure cloud platforms. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, requiring expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Azure cloud technologies, automation, and platform engineering. You will play a key role in developing self-service infrastructure capabilities, driving cloud governance standards, and supporting AI-powered operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Define cloud architecture standards and best practices across Azure environments.

• Manage Terraform state strategies, deployment patterns, infrastructure lifecycle, and governance frameworks.

• Build reusable and scalable infrastructure modules following automation and engineering best practices.

• Design and implement secure Azure cloud solutions, including networking, identity, compute, storage, and container platforms.

• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and automation.

• Implement policy-as-code, security controls, compliance guardrails, and infrastructure testing frameworks.

• Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell and cloud-native tooling.

• Contribute to the development of Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and self-service infrastructure capabilities.

• Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and developer productivity.

• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture design.

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Experience building and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment automation.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with services such as AKS, Key Vault, App Services, API Management, and Entra ID.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure Guardrails, Policy-as-Code, and security automation tools.

• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (e.g., Backstage, Port) is an advantage.

• Interest in AI-powered engineering, automation, and modern platform technologies.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
