Senior Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join an agile product team and play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure supporting advanced data platforms and scientific image analysis solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
• Provisioning and troubleshooting cloud environments primarily within AWS, using modern infrastructure-as-code approaches such as CDK and Terraform.
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Establishing and promoting cloud engineering best practices, automation, security, and DevOps principles.
• Collaborating with stakeholders through workshops and discussions to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including servers, networking, databases, and security.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Knowledge of tools and technologies such as Terraform, CDK, TypeScript, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in agile teams and familiarity with Scrum ways of working.
