Senior Cloud AI Engineer

We are looking for a highly autonomous Senior Cloud AI Engineer to join a strategic project focused on building cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. This is an individual contributor role for a technical expert who will design and implement AI-driven tools, plug-ins, and microservices within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will be at the forefront of shaping how our client leverages AI to deliver exceptional value.

Location: Remote or Warsaw (Hybrid)

Rate: ~200 PLN/h (B2B)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Standard (9:00–17:00)

Client: Global Professional Services Leader (International Project)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement large-scale AI-driven software solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit.
• Build and Optimize advanced Generative AI tools, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and API-based plugins.
• Develop Microservices and scalable backend components using Python or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Lead Innovation by translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and robust AI agents.
• Ensure Excellence by implementing best practices in CI/CD, DevOps (Azure DevOps/GitHub), and cloud security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams (UX, Data, Business) in an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements (Wymagania)

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native solutions.
• Expertise in AI Tools: Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and LLM orchestration (e.g., Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or LlamaIndex).
• Proficiency in Languages: Strong coding skills in Python or Node.js (TypeScript).
• Cloud Mastery: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).
• Architecture: Experience with service-oriented, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
• Infrastructure: Practical knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Communication: Fluent English (B2/C1) for collaboration with stakeholders in the USA, Europe, and APAC.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Certifications: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204).
• Familiarity with the .NET ecosystem (for integration and architectural alignment).
• Experience building Microsoft 365 / Teams agents and plugins.
