Senior Card and PSP Analyst

Currently we are seeking a professional to join us as Senior Card Scheme and PSP Analyst worldwide.

Requirements

• Card scheme costs analysis Analyze the structure of card scheme fees structure (interchange, scheme fees, marketing, implementation and other fees) and revenues (marketing programs and incentives and promotions)
• Validate invoices against agreements and investigate discrepancies
• Conduct month on month variance analysis to identify cost drivers and opportunities for optimization
• Analyze transactional data to identify negotiation opportunities with the card schemes and merchants
• Monitor changes in Visa/Mastercard regulations and pricing schedules, assess their impact on costs and revenue side and suggest changes on pricing
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Partnership and Compliance teams to implement cost/ revenues optimization strategies.
• Analyze transactional data to identify areas for negotiation with the card schemes
• Partner with the Pricing manager for Pricing incentives and strategies
• Perform scenario modelling for pricing adjustments and incentive optimization to support profitability targets
• Card scheme incentives Analyze the structure of card scheme incentives (marketing programs and incentives and promotions)
• Participate in strategic projects related to the card (e.g., new card product launches, pricing adjustments, incentives, etc.).
• Work closely with Scheme cards Relationship managers for review of agreements, plans and commitments, track and report actual performance vs commitment, with providing options and scenarios for optimization
• Other PSPs cost analysis and validation of monthly cost
• Support negotiation with insightful analysis of cost and areas for optimization
• Perform PSPs business performance analysis and variance analysis of PSP vs PSP
• Partner with Pricing Manager and Sales team to optimize pricing strategies and incentives for merchants

Responsibilities

• Experience in financial analysis or payments industry (preferably in fintech or banking).
• Understanding of card scheme operations (Visa, Mastercard).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets (Excel, BI tools).
• Expert to proficient on SQL
• English proficiency (B2/C1 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience in negotiations with payment service providers.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, PowerPoint).
