Senior C# Engineer (Trading Systems)

VISTULO is looking for a Senior C# Engineer to join a core team building high-performance FX electronic trading systems for a top North American bank. This is a unique opportunity to work on ultra-low-latency architectures where milliseconds matter, contributing to a system that is actively developed rather than maintained as legacy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software solutions for FX trading systems using C# .NET.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and implement system enhancements.
• Perform root-cause analysis and diagnosis for production issues.
• Translate complex business requirements into high-quality, maintainable technical implementations.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience with expertise in multi-threading and event-driven systems.
• Proven experience building backend services for front-office trading systems.
• Deep understanding of electronic trading platforms, front-office workflows, and the FIX protocol.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning for low-latency environments.
• Ability to align work with a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern business hours.
