Senior C++ Engineer

N-iX is seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Engineer to join an innovative project focused on embedded vision systems. You will play a key role in developing an advanced traffic management platform, utilizing sensor fusion and a robust ROS2-based architecture to solve complex real-world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core application components using Modern C++ within a ROS2-based system.
• Integrate diverse sensors and external interfaces to ensure seamless system performance.
• Develop distributed, component-based applications utilizing message-based communication.
• Contribute to high-level software architecture and design decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Perform rigorous unit and integration testing, code reviews, and performance optimizations.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in C++17/20.
• Strong understanding of memory management, concurrency, multithreading, and performance-critical programming.
• Proven experience in developing robotic applications using ROS2 and integrating multiple sensors.
• Solid proficiency in Linux development, including debugging, profiling, and performance analysis.
• Experience with Docker, containerized build environments, and collaborative Git workflows.
