Senior Business Analyst

Softeta is a premier software engineering partner specializing in high-stakes sectors such as finance and energy. We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team and support a major client within the banking industry, focusing on complex data governance and regulatory reporting initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support BCBS239-compliant data governance, documentation, and regulatory reporting initiatives related to securitisation.
• Document end-to-end data lineage and governance processes to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and map complex business requirements to robust data and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Product Owners, and IT teams to define accurate source-to-target mappings.
• Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implement data quality controls to improve accuracy.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of banking and regulatory reporting, specifically COREP and ESMA securitisation reporting.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with DWVault and BDS queries.
• Expertise in source-to-target data mapping, data reconciliation, and data quality validation.
• Proven experience in business process documentation, BPMN 2.0, and managing data dictionaries.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
