(Senior) Business Analyst

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term fintech project focused on innovative payment solutions. You will play a key role in shaping requirements, aligning stakeholders, and driving the successful delivery of complex payment initiatives, acting as the central link between business, product, and technical teams.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to translate business needs into clear User Stories and acceptance criteria

• Own and maintain high-quality project documentation, including Confluence pages, user manuals, and functional specifications

• Ensure traceability between business requirements, User Stories, and delivered functionality

• Prepare process flows, business rules, and solution design documentation

• Support UAT, implementation, and knowledge transfer activities

• Proactively identify risks, documentation gaps, and open items, driving stakeholders to timely resolution

 
Requirements:

• Proven BA experience in the Payments and/or Fintech industry

• Experience delivering greenfield projects end to end

• Strong knowledge of Open Banking and/or Payments domain.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience writing User Stories, functional specifications, and process documentation

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive clarity on open items

 
Nice to Have:

• Understanding of ISO 20022 and XML-based messaging

• Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, webhooks)

• Knowledge of PSD2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and AML
