Senior Business Analyst Mining (100% remote)

Tether Operations Limited is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on mining-related investment banking and M&A advisory activities. This role is ideal for a professional who can bridge technical geological expertise with commercial and financial analysis to evaluate mining assets and investment opportunities globally.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on mining assets, integrating geological, technical, and commercial assessments.
• Build and maintain complex financial models, including DCF and NAV, for mining projects and corporate transactions.
• Analyze mineral resource and reserve statements to assess their commercial implications.
• Evaluate mining project economics, including capex/opex profiles, production schedules, and risk factors.
• Prepare investment memoranda, valuation summaries, and board-level presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or Earth Sciences.
• 5+ years of experience in mining, investment banking, corporate finance, or technical advisory.
• Strong understanding of mineral resource classification codes such as JORC or NI 43-101.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
