Senior Build/Release/CI Engineer

Brave is on a mission to protect the human right to privacy online by building a free web browser that blocks ads and trackers by default. We are looking for a Senior Build/Release/CI Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals to reduce toil and support the automation processes that enable us to serve over 121 million users.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support automation processes for over 1000 GitHub repositories.
• Manage build and release engineering, including code signing, app store distribution, and packaging.
• Drive work end-to-end while interfacing directly with other engineering teams.
• Lead best practices and develop proof-of-concepts for various browser and search engine initiatives.
• Optimize build systems and CI pipelines across multiple desktop and mobile platforms.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD automation, specifically for mobile or desktop applications.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell, Python, Kotlin, and Groovy.
• Extensive experience across diverse operating systems including Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows.
• Commitment to privacy and security standards in all development tasks.
