Senior BIM Developer

INFOPLUS TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM Developer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will play a pivotal role in developing an innovative AI-assisted commissionability review platform designed to analyze BIM/IFC models, engineering systems, and schematic drawings to identify design issues and generate intelligent, model-linked recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based BIM applications for AI-assisted commissionability reviews.
• Process and analyze IFC/BIM models, metadata, and engineering system information.
• Integrate IFC model viewers, PDF parsing capabilities, and AI agent frameworks into the solution.
• Collaborate with commissioning experts to validate outputs, refine prompts, and improve AI accuracy.
• Generate structured commissionability reports with actionable recommendations and supporting rationale.

Requirements

• Strong experience in BIM Development and deep understanding of IFC data structures.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with web-based BIM viewers such as xeokit, IFC.js, or Autodesk Forge.
• Expertise in AI/LLM integrations, Agentic AI frameworks, Prompt Engineering, and RAG solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant development experience.
