Senior Big Data Engineer (AdTech Cybersecurity)

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer to join a long-term project within the cybersecurity and AdTech domain. You will work on a real-time risk assessment platform designed to protect digital advertising ecosystems, focusing on large-scale data processing, performance optimization, and the development of scalable, reliable backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize Snowflake usage and improve infrastructure cost efficiency across data pipelines.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in complex SQL queries and data processing workflows.
• Enhance and maintain Java-based services while implementing new platform features.
• Contribute to architecture improvements and the development of scalable, high-load components.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure stable and maintainable platform functionality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in Big Data engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake and advanced SQL query optimization.
• Proficiency in Python and Java development.
• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
