Senior Banking Penetration Tester

ITDS is seeking a Senior Banking Penetration Tester to join a dynamic team focused on strengthening the security posture of banking applications, systems, and infrastructure. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in identifying vulnerabilities, validating security controls, and promoting cybersecurity best practices through high-impact testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive security tests for complex IT infrastructure and applications.
• Identify and document vulnerabilities to improve the overall security posture of the organization.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline vulnerability detection and configuration analysis.
• Validate the effectiveness of existing security controls across diverse IT environments.
• Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams regarding cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in security or penetration testing.
• Deep understanding of OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, and CVSS scoring.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation purposes.
• Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud-based technologies.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical findings to various stakeholders through clear reporting.
