Senior Backend Product Engineer (Elixir)

Tellent is a leading Talent Management Suite helping HR and People teams across the globe. We are looking for a Senior Backend Product Engineer to join our Intelligence team, where you will build and scale AI-powered capabilities that integrate seamlessly into our existing product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI-powered features into our mature product ecosystem.
• Take full ownership of features from initial concept to shipping and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, QA, and DevOps to solve complex technical challenges.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and system scalability.
• Work primarily on the backend while remaining comfortable navigating the frontend when necessary.

Requirements

• Commercial experience with Elixir or strong backend expertise in languages like Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, or PHP with a willingness to learn Elixir.
• Experience with TypeScript or a strong motivation to master it.
• Senior-level judgment and product-oriented mindset, capable of evaluating trade-offs and prototyping effectively.
• Genuine interest in AI development and hands-on experience with LLMs or similar technologies.
• Fluent English communication skills.
