Senior Backend Manual Tester – Credit Systems

ITDS is seeking a Senior Backend Manual Tester to join a dynamic team within the banking sector, focusing on the development and quality assurance of credit solutions for individual customers. In this fully remote role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, compliance, and high performance of complex financial systems by validating backend processes and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive manual backend tests for credit-related functionalities and system integrations.
• Design and maintain detailed test scenarios and cases that align with evolving business requirements.
• Analyze defects, document findings, and conduct root-cause investigations to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Validate complex data flows and system results using database queries and specialized testing tools.
• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to uphold rigorous quality standards and improve overall testing practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in manual software testing.
• Strong expertise in backend and API-focused testing methodologies.
• Practical experience with Kafka and modern testing management tools.
• Ability to effectively analyze defects and communicate findings within a technical team.
• Communicative level of English and proficiency in Polish.
