Senior Backend Golang Engineer

Miratech is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems. In this role, you will develop distributed services, design robust APIs, and implement event-driven architectures while ensuring high standards of performance and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in Golang, including RESTful APIs and stable data contracts.
• Develop distributed systems and microservices with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Implement asynchronous, event-driven communication with strong guarantees around message reliability and error handling.
• Optimize application performance and resource utilization in production environments.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making within the engineering team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong expertise in Golang.
• Solid understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message handling technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proven experience designing APIs and event schemas with a focus on long-term evolution.
• Strong commitment to automated testing, including unit and integration testing.
• Experience with AWS, cloud-native architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes.
