Senior Backend Engineer, Trusted Agentic Development

As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Trusted Agentic Development team, you will own the technical thesis for closing the validation gap in agent-generated code, ensuring that software produced by AI agents is reliable, trustworthy, and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for validating software authored by AI agents and translate it into scalable architecture.
• Prototype and build feedback mechanisms that allow agents to self-correct toward functional software.
• Develop language-aware validation approaches for stacks including Rust, Ruby, and Go.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to measure adoption and improve platform trust.
• Set technical direction and mentor teammates to foster high-quality engineering standards.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience building software with AI agents across multiple programming languages.
• Strong understanding of the validation gap where agent-generated code passes tests but fails in production.
• Proven ability to design complex systems and prototype solutions to prove technical concepts.
• Excellent written communication skills for an all-remote, asynchronous environment.
