Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a high-performing, international team at a fast-growing unicorn, contributing to a platform that serves over 15 million users and processes significant annual transaction volumes for global brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, distributed systems to support high-load architectures.
• Build and maintain robust microservices using Golang and modern backend technologies.
• Integrate third-party APIs and actively contribute to the full product development lifecycle.
• Ensure the delivery of clean, testable, and maintainable code within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend engineering experience, including a minimum of 2 years working with Golang.
• Proven track record in building scalable, distributed systems and high-load architectures.
• Strong proficiency with tools such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration in a remote setting.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges.
