Senior Backend Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and help build the robust, scalable infrastructure that powers our high-impact financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-impact features.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while proactively identifying system improvements.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including modern backend architecture.
• Proven experience designing and scaling web services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Excellent debugging skills and a structured approach to complex problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
