Senior Backend Engineer (Identity & Access Management)

Andersen is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a project focused on building a scalable, high-performance distributed platform for an international organization in the financial services sector. You will play a key role in developing reliable identity and access management solutions using Go.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing high-throughput identity services including SSO, MFA, and session management.
• Implementing and scaling modern authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWTs.
• Writing clean, concurrent, and performant backend code in Go with clear API contracts.
• Managing identity infrastructure using DevOps practices, including CI/CD and monitoring.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on security, conducting threat modeling, and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on Go.
• Deep expertise in IAM, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, RBAC, and cryptography.
• Strong production experience with gRPC and building distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.
