Senior Backend Engineer, AI Platform - 100% Remote - EMEA

As a Senior Backend Engineer on our AI Team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating advanced AI services into our SaaS ecosystem to enhance efficiency and drive growth for our users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust services that integrate AI capabilities into customer-facing features.
• Develop performant and scalable APIs that bridge AI outputs with our core SaaS functionality.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to create intuitive, AI-driven user experiences.
• Partner with platform teams to embed AI components into existing systems and automation workflows.
• Implement comprehensive observability, monitoring, and error handling for AI services in production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern AI and LLM tools such as LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, or MCP servers.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to integrate work across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with PHP or Golang is considered a valuable asset.
