Senior Backend Engineer — AdTech & Real-Time Systems

BRAVER IT is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in developing a high-performance programmatic advertising platform. You will focus on building and optimizing low-latency, high-throughput systems where every millisecond is critical to successful ad-buying decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance backend services that support real-time ad-buying and delivery processes.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks to maximize system throughput, latency, and overall reliability.
• Develop complex bidding flows and integrate services that process large volumes of bid-stream data.
• Drive technical decision-making processes for performance-critical components within our architecture.
• Apply deep domain expertise to solve unique engineering challenges within the programmatic advertising space.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Backend Engineer working on high-throughput, low-latency production environments.
• Proven track record in AdTech or RTB, specifically within programmatic advertising, media delivery, or ad marketplaces.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
• Ability to investigate complex performance issues and make sound engineering trade-offs.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
