Senior Backend Developer

RITS is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join a project that makes a real difference in the medical field. You will work on a mature, commercial clinical product used by hospitals and laboratories to generate reports that assist oncologists in selecting personalized cancer treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the application’s backend using Java and Spring.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing services and APIs for NGS sequencing data interpretation.
• Working with PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Managing applications in the AWS cloud environment using Docker containerization.
• Collaborating within an Agile/Scrum team to ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable medical software solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Docker.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database management.
• Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for version control.
• Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
