Senior Backend Developer

Antal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join a dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial architecture and coding to testing and delivering high-quality, production-ready features within a microservices-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architecting and maintaining robust microservice-based systems using PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Building and consuming scalable RESTful APIs to support complex business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Driving Proof of Concepts and experimenting with new tools to optimize development processes.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Solid experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Practical knowledge of messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
