Senior Backend Developer | Node.js, TypeScript, Temporal

Experis Manpower Group is seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a robust backend and workflow engine. You will play a key role in building reliable workflow execution systems and seamless integrations with customer platforms, taking full ownership of the development lifecycle from initial design to production support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and the core workflow execution engine.
• Design and implement integrations with various external and customer-facing systems.
• Utilize Temporal and durable workflow execution patterns to ensure system reliability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and overall system architecture.
• Manage deployments, conduct thorough testing, and provide production troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience working with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven expertise in using Temporal or similar durable execution engines, including handling retries, replays, and idempotency.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST API design principles.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, alongside Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
