Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

MasterBorn is seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team working with diverse US-based clients. You will be responsible for crafting cutting-edge solutions using a modern tech stack centered around Node.js and TypeScript, contributing to projects ranging from early-stage MVPs to established enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript and TypeScript code with an emphasis on object-oriented programming principles.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure REST APIs.
• Modifying and optimizing database structures for both SQL and NoSQL environments.
• Proposing innovative technical solutions and effectively communicating architectural approaches to the team.
• Building and integrating AI-powered features into existing and new applications.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of commercial experience working with Node.js.
• Deep expertise in backend frameworks such as NestJS, Express.js, or Fastify.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and knowledge of SOLID and KISS design principles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Docker, and CI/CD workflows like GitHub Actions.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Polish.
