Senior Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot, Agentic LLMs)

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a distributed team building a high-performance technology platform for the global business aviation industry. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable backend services while integrating cutting-edge agentic AI and LLM workflows into production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Take full ownership of software features from initial requirements through testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and implement event-driven architectures using technologies like Apache Kafka.
• Integrate intelligent capabilities into existing services, including RAG pipelines and LLM orchestration.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience in Java backend development, specifically with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, relational database modeling, and Hibernate.
• Proven experience building distributed systems and implementing asynchronous, event-driven workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with LLM-based applications, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Professional fluency in English and a strong commitment to clean, well-tested code.
