Senior Backend Developer (Go)

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join a team building a business-critical energy trading platform. In this fully remote role, you will architect high-throughput, low-latency services while leveraging advanced AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and enhance overall code quality.
• Translate complex business requirements into precise technical specifications for both human developers and AI agents.
• Promote test-driven development and maintain comprehensive automated test coverage within CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver critical system functionality.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on system architecture.
• Deep proficiency in Go, with the ability to design production-grade backend services.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-volume data processing.
• Experience with database schema design, query optimization, and cloud-native infrastructure like Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
