Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer (Azure & DevOps Focus)

Link Group is seeking a Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will take ownership of the entire lifecycle of backend services, focusing on building scalable, event-driven architectures within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly scalable, asynchronous solutions on Microsoft Azure using Service Bus or Kafka.
• Orchestrate cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure security and performance.
• Deploy and fine-tune containerized workloads within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Drive the automation of build, test, and release cycles by managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Design efficient data storage strategies and expose secure interfaces through Azure API Management.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in backend development using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure core services, specifically AKS, APIM, and distributed messaging.
• Proven ability to work with microservices and distributed systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on proficiency with CI/CD automation tools and a strong commitment to Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
