Senior Back-end Engineer ( Accessibility Product House)

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer to join a project dedicated to making digital products accessible to millions of users worldwide. You will contribute to the development of a high-scale SaaS platform focused on accessibility automation and compliance, working within a distributed team on cloud-native and data-intensive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, distributed Back-end solutions for a SaaS platform.
• Architect and deliver complex systems focused on accessibility compliance and platform scalability.
• Develop and maintain microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize service performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture evolution and technical strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, including at least 1 year of extensive AI SDLC experience.
• Strong Back-end development experience in Golang (primary) and Kotlin or other JVM-based languages.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Proficiency with major cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure, including serverless and container-based deployments.
• Strong background in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-scalability systems.
