Senior Azure Data Engineer

Exclusive Networks is a global cybersecurity specialist operating in over 170 countries, dedicated to creating a trusted digital world. We are currently seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our Global IT team and play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining our data platforms within an agile, transformative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers while defining the data platform strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Create and manage robust data models for both structured and unstructured data to support real-time and batch processing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data scientists and DevOps engineers, to ensure seamless integration and deployment via CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, and automate repetitive tasks to ensure high availability and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience as a Senior Azure Data Engineer with a proven track record in team leadership and mentoring.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Data Lake, alongside strong SQL and NoSQL database skills.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Bicep, and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
